Argos Groups and Folders Procedures
Creating Groups and Folders
MAPS
In MAPS, a Group must be created to match the Group Folder in Argos.
- Click on Groups in the left-hand Navigtion Pane.
- Click on an existing Argos Group (right pane)
- They are named like OU_xxxxx, where xxxxx is the Department or Group Area.
- Click on Copy (top-menu bar)
- A window will pop-up.
- Change the name, description and remove any assigned users.
- If there are users as part of this request, you can add them at this time.
- Click OK.
Associate the ADO Connection to the Group Folder. Click on ADO Connections (left-hand Navigation pane) Click on the specific ADO Connection for this Group (middle pane) Click on Edit Connection (top-menu bar or right-click) Click on User/Group Rules (in pop-up box) Click on the Group icon (double person icon at bottom) Click on the Group from the list (should be named as in above step OU_xxxxx) Click on OK
Argos
