What is Google Groups?

Google Groups are used for collaboration email lists and forums. All members of the group are allowed to respond or to post messages to the group. Google Groups are useful for email discussions within an email list or for collaborative inboxes. What is Emma?

Emma email marketing and mailing lists will be used for broadcast announcement email. Members of the group are NOT allowed to respond or to post messages to the group. Emma offers a myriad of benefits to ensure all email communications are successful, including in-depth reporting metrics that reveal how the target audience is engaging with your message. Login to https://webmail.oakland.edu , then click on the Google Apps 9 square icon in the upper right corner, then click on Groups. (Or you can navigate to https://groups.google.com after you have logged in)
