How to Query Documents in BDM

• Log into BDM
• Select the application you wish to query from the list of applications on the left menu
• Click the New Query button

• Enter the Search Criteria for the document you wish to retrieve and click "Run". This will bring up a list of results from your search criteria. If only one document is a result of the search then the system will open it.
• You can combine Search Criteria together depending on your application. For example, in a student application I may search on a GID. Or I may search on a last name. Or I may search on a GID and last name.

NOTE: In this software, the wild card is the asterisk ( * )
