Maintaining the Faculty Directory PDF in SAIL
Here are the steps to maintaining the All Faculty PDF in SAIL
Steps to change the pdf document:
UHR will create the pdf and upload it to the Google Share(Campus Directory Faculty).
They will create a UTS ticket asking for the new file to replace the "Faculty Directory.pdf" and update SAIL Directory.
- If the file name is not "Faculty Directory.pdf" then UTS will rename the file.
- UTS will right click on the document and select Get Link.
- Set sharing to "Anyone with the link".
- Click Copy Link to copy the new link.
Log into SAIL then WebTailor Administration.
- Go to Web Menus and Procedures
Search for bwpkedir.P_DisplayDirectory.
Click on bwpkedir.P_DisplayDirectory under Procedure Name
- Click Customize Information Text
- Click DEFAULT under Label
In the Information Text field, replace the link in the <a href=INSERT LINK HERE>PDF Faculty Listing</a> HTML tag
- Click Submit Changes
To verify
- Log out of SAIL
- Go to the SAIL homepage
- Click Campus Directory
- Click PDF Faculty Listing link
- Check date on the bottom left hand corner of the directory on the PDF. It should reflect the date of the attachment from UHR
