Maintaining the Faculty Directory PDF in SAIL

Here are the steps to maintaining the All Faculty PDF in SAIL

Steps to change the pdf document:

  1. UHR will create the pdf and upload it to the Google Share(Campus Directory Faculty).

  2. They will create a UTS ticket asking for the new file to replace the "Faculty Directory.pdf" and update SAIL Directory.

    • If the file name is not "Faculty Directory.pdf" then UTS will rename the file.
  3. UTS will right click on the document and select Get Link.
  4. Set sharing to "Anyone with the link".
  5. Click Copy Link to copy the new link.
  6. Log into SAIL then WebTailor Administration.

  7. Go to Web Menus and Procedures
  8. Search for bwpkedir.P_DisplayDirectory.

  9. Click on bwpkedir.P_DisplayDirectory under Procedure Name

  10. Click Customize Information Text
  11. Click DEFAULT under Label
  12. In the Information Text field, replace the link in the <a href=INSERT LINK HERE>PDF Faculty Listing</a> HTML tag

  13. Click Submit Changes

To verify

  1. Log out of SAIL
  2. Go to the SAIL homepage
  3. Click Campus Directory
  4. Click PDF Faculty Listing link
  5. Check date on the bottom left hand corner of the directory on the PDF. It should reflect the date of the attachment from UHR
