How to Reset a Message Indicator Light
When a customer calls to report their telephone light remains on if there are no messages in queue, you must first;
Login to the Cisco Unity on-line application https://vmail.oakland.edu/cuadmin/search-global-user.do
- Select Users from left-hand navigation pane
- Type in the telephone extension to reset the light
- Select the Message Waiting Indicators from the EDIT menu
- Click on the box and select Reset All option. You will receive a confirmation that the light has been reset.
