Use GoAnyWhere HTTPS Services To Upload Files

  • Connect to Oakland University’s GoAnyWhere Server by entering the following URL in the address bar of your browser. https://goanywhere.oakland.edu:9009. After reaching the website enter the credentials provided to you by Oakland University into the Username Name and Password boxes and click Login.
    This will by your NetID and Password (same as your Email).

  • After logging in click on Upload.

  • You will receive an Information Bar dialog box. Click Close

  • You will then see a Banner Message indicating: Pop-up blocked. To see this or additional options click here. Click on the banner message and select Always Allow Pop-Up From this Site.

  • Click Upload again. You should no longer receive any warning messages.

  • Click on Browse adjacent to File(s) to Upload

  • Browse the file you would like and click on it to add it to the File name box below. Now click Open. This will add the file to the list of files being uploaded to the GoAnyWhere server. If necessary, you can add up four additional files by clicking on Browse next to an empty the empty lines shown in step 6 .

  • After you have selected all the files you need to uploaded to the GoAnyWhere server click Upload.

  • After the files finish uploading you will receive a confirmation message in the Messages pane in the lower portion of the window.

Use GoAnyWhere HTTPS Services To Download Files

  • Connect to Oakland University’s GoAnyWhere Server by entering the following URL in the address bar of FireFox or Internet Explorer. https://goanywhere.oakland.edu:9009

    • After reaching the website enter the credentials provided to you by Oakland University into the Username Name and Password boxes and click Login.

After logging in click on the name of the file you would like to download.

  • You will receive a File Download dialog box. Click on SAVE.

  • Browse to the location you would like to save the file and click SAVE.
