How to Connect a Mac Laptop to a School of Medicine Display

1. First, ensure that the blue monitor cable is plugged into the wall in the appropriate location [see image]

2. Connect the white Mini-Displayport Adapter to the blue monitor cable and plug in to your computer [see image]

3. Turn on the TV mounted on the wall. If it does not automatically display your laptop, move on to the next section.

Settings on the computer (if necessary)

1. Click the Apple logo in the upper left corner and then click "System Preferences" [see image]

2. In System Preferences, click on the "Displays" icon [see image]

3. Click on the "Arrangements" tab and then click the "Mirror Displays" checkbox so that there is a checkmark [see image]

4. Make sure that the Resolution for both the Color LCD and the SAMSUNG are set at 1280 x 800 [see image]
