Firewall Change Requests

Approval for changes to the firewall will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• The requested action should have a clear academic, research or business purpose
• The requested action has to be scalable with existing network resources
• The requested action cannot open up the campus community to serious security threats
• The requested action has to be sustainable and compatible with technology changes
