Mathematica Online Comprehensive Site

Overview

Although Wolfram Mathematica is not available on the Matilda HPC Cluster, UTS does assist in the facilitation of Mathematica at OU by operating a network license server, and assisting in the issue of long-term and temporary standalone license keys for eligible OU Faculty, Staff, and Students. Available Mathematica licensed products include:

  • Mathematica Site Network- available for faculty, staff, and graduate students, as well as through select campus laboratories (including undergraduate students). A fixed number of floating licenses are available to Math and Stats Faculty and Staff by connecting a locally installed Mathematica client to the campus license server maintained for Math and Stats by UTS.

  • Mathematica Home - available for faculty, staff, and graduate students upon request. There are a limited number of these licenses that can be granted for standalone Home versions of Mathematica. Graduate students must get approval from the PI to obtain one of these Home licenses.

  • Mathematica Online Comprehensive Site - available to Faculty, Staff, and Students (pending approval). A limited number of licenses are available for use within the cloud through a web browser.

If you have received a Mathematica Online Comprehensive Site activation email, this document will explain how to request access and register and begin using Mathematica.

Requesting Access

You may request access to Mathematica Online Comprehensive Site by filing a ticket with UTS. Faculty will be issued an access code by an Administrator within about 1 business day. Students and Staff must be approved by a member of the Faculty (in the case of a Graduate Student, your PI must make and approve the request).
